Role: Production Manager
Location: Warwick, CV34 6TE
Hours: 37 hours per week | between 06:30 and 16:00 Monday to Thursday
Are you a natural leader with a passion for developing people and driving performance? We’re looking for an inspiring and proactive Production Manager to lead our manufacturing team in Warwick!
This role is all about people—motivating, mentoring, and managing a skilled production team to deliver high-quality results while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coach a production team to meet output, quality, and health & safety targets.
- Create and manage production and resource plans aligned with business needs.
- Drive team performance through clear communication, fair task allocation, and regular feedback.
- Champion continuous improvement, quality ownership, and lean manufacturing practices.
- Promote a safe and inclusive working environment through regular audits and proactive risk management.
- Support the development of team members through training, mentoring, and skills matrix management.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in managing production teams in a manufacturing environment.
- Passionate about people development, coaching, and team building.
- Strong understanding of health & safety, quality standards (ISO 9001/14001), and lean principles.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to engage and inspire at all levels.
- Resilient, adaptable, and solutions-focused with a hands-on leadership style.
- Proficient in production planning, resource management, and performance reporting.
- NVQ3/HNC or equivalent in a management or production-related discipline.
